Service Children’s Community Choir – Supporting Military-Connected Children Through Music
Founded in September 2021, the Service Children’s Community Choir brings together children aged 6–18 from schools across Catterick Garrison and the surrounding area. Our choir proudly raised national awareness when they performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC and Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance, shining a spotlight on the voices of Service children everywhere.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6-7.30pm at Le Cateau Primary School in Catterick Garrison.
We’re incredibly proud of how the choir has grown into a vibrant, supportive community. New members from any school are always welcome—whether your child is new to singing or already confident on stage. The choir is a fantastic way to make friends, build confidence, and find joy in music.
We also offer emotional support during challenging times, such as parental deployment or relocation to a new posting. Our core mission is to promote the mental health and well-being of military-connected children and young people through the power of music.
We sing in harmony as one.
