We are excited to say that we are now joining the Military WAGS choir at the Garrison Memorial Church which is just a short walk from our prior venue. The church iis at the heart of Catterick Garrison and is used by the military and other groups. It is a beautiful space for the children to sing and features a grand piano which Liz plays beautifully each week.
We also use the annex just behind the church for the first hour of our sessions which provides a warm, relaxed space where the children can share their news with each other, pay games and enjoy a light snack too. The children and young people are becoming more involved in the choir sharing ideas for fundraising and recruitment which is lovely. They help set up the session and tidy away equipment and resources afterwards.
Although we are based on the Garrison we welcome children and young people from any local primary or secondary schools. A huge thank you to the Chaplain who has welcomed us in, we look forward to many more happy times in the church.
